Cambotics
Robotic Camera Systems, Pedestals, Heads and
Controllers
|
While Mark Roberts
Motion Control equipment is most known in the realms of film,
commercials and music videos, we have also supplied the TV industry
on countless occasions. In order to offer an even greater range of
broadcast equipment for the TV industry, MRMC are working in
collaboration with Cine-TV Broadcast Systems
and
Cambotics USA and
MRMC
are now an official reseller for Cambotics broadcast systems.
Cambotics manufacture state of the art robotic pedestals, lift
columns and pan tilt heads for live broadcast applications.
Cambotics systems are much more reliable, stable under heavy load
and simple to operate than other remote studio equipment, and have
already been installed in many well known US and European studios
and governmental organizations. They require very little maintenance
and are very simple to install.
MRMC are the
official reseller of Cambotics equipment in the United Kingdom,
South Africa, China, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Australia
and New Zealand to name but a few.

700XY Robotic Pedestal
The third-generation 700XY robotic pedestal
substantially raises the bar for smoothness and accuracy. Using
proprietary geometry together with optical targeting, the 700XY
targets in seconds, navigates studio floors with millimetre
precision, eliminates wheel-scrub floor damage, and eliminates
the need to periodically clean sensors and targets. Popular
options include ultra-smooth manual control, feedback provisions
for virtual sets, and an economical Z–only version that shares
the same aesthetics and small footprint.

700PT Pan/Tilt Head
Available as
a stand-alone product for post or tripod mounting, the700PT’s
90kg capacity easily supports the largest studio cameras and
prompters, while setting the industry standard for smoothness,
accuracy, and whisper-quiet operation.
|
| |
|
500PT Pan/Tilt Head
Ideal for tighter spaces, the 500PT uses the
same precision technology as the larger heads. An offset tilt
axis greatly reduces the need for awkward counterweights, while
its 45kg load capacity easily accommodates the desirable 15”
prompters.

300PT Pan/Tilt Head
With thousands of 300PT heads installed
worldwide, this affordable workhorse with a load rating of 10kg
has become the industry standard for compact broadcast quality
robotic heads.

700LX Local Control
Add the 700LX to any
Series-500 or 700 robotic head or pedestal, and it will
instantly convert to a high-performance servo-assisted manual
mode with the flip of a switch. Since all products were designed
at the outset to accommodate both modes, changing over doesn’t
have to involve operating levers, adjustments, or air pressures,
and then having to spend time re-targeting all of the pedestals.
Instead, switching over from shooting a robotically-assisted
news show to a spontaneous talk show is as quick as flipping a
switch on each pedestal.

700UI User Interface
Setting up a shot is as easy as selecting a
camera, framing it using joysticks and a focus knob, and storing
it by touching the screen. It appears as a thumbnail image, and
recalling it is just a touch away.

Architecture
The backbone
of every Cambotics system is an Ethernet architecture engineered
for reliability, redundancy, flexibility and growth. Fewer
“boxes” are required, providing for an attractive and compact
installation using straight-forward CAT-5 wiring. Whether your
project is a small studio, a large distributed studio, or a 1000
device State Legislature, this powerful architecture allows
products to be mixed and matched to accommodate virtually any
present or future need.
