The Slimline Head brings precision, rigidity and speed to the control of both film and video cameras.  Its compact design gives total versatility in differing set environments.

The Cameras are mounted to the Slimline with a revolutionary camera mount system. A BNC style locking device and two locating pins allow the camera to be easily positioned and locked firmly to the head.  This action not only makes the electrical connections, but also aligns the camera's optical axis so that the camera will roll about the cross-hairs on the ground-glass.  This allows cameras to be easily interchanged, without incurring hours of set-up time.(requires factory set-up)

The Slimline Head offers full support for all features required of a modern day camera.  The Director of Photography views the image by way of a remote video monitor, or an optical viewfinder for the more specific frame composition.  The camera itself can shoot shoot from Stop-Frame animation up to 125 frames-per-second, forwards or backwards, and offers full support to Camera Buckle systems.  The motor unit fits close to the side of the camera to keep the unit compact.  With certain cameras the FDX (variable shutter) can also be controlled, and all systems incorporate wiring necessary to control the Zoom, Focus and Iris of the lens.

The Video Camera

A Video-Shoe permits the use of video cameras with the Slimline Head.  ENG type cameras are mounted in this shoe, which is then mounted to the Slimline.  This ensures that camera is held rigidly.
